Quiz: Which Disney Channel “Monstober” episode are you?

With the semester back in full swing, most of us are probably trying to squeeze in as many autumn activities as we can before Halloween weekend. For me, that means finding as many haunted houses as possible, making caramel apples and convincing myself that it is totally acceptable to spend an excessive amount of money at Spirit Halloween.
However, my favorite tradition has to be rewatching all my favorite Disney Channel Halloween episodes. There was truly nothing like getting home from school on a chilly October day in the 2010s and turning on “Monstober,” the month-long Disney Channel Halloween program showcasing all of my favorite Disney characters on the spookiest night of the year.
10 years later, you can still watch all of your favorite reruns of “Monstober” episodes with the magical invention of Disney+. So, if you’re tired of rewatching the same horror movies and ready for the perfect dose of fall nostalgia, take this quiz to find out if you should hop on deck with Zach and Cody, cast spells with the Russo family or hunt ghosts with Jessie. Whatever your Halloween vibe, there’s a perfect Disney “Monstober” episode for you.

Suite Life of Zach and Cody: The Ghost in Suite 613 (Season 1, Episode 19)
You are less concerned with finding the perfect costume, and more worried about researching the most haunted places around campus. Also, you’re ordering an EMF reader. You love all things old and paranormal, and you likely excuse it by calling yourself a “history buff”. You read Stephen King novels year-round, and you were a fan of Sam and Colby YouTube videos as a kid (which you were definitely too young to be watching). Despite all of this, you still hide under the covers during scary movies and scream the loudest when you and your friends go to Skeleton’s Lair Scream Park. What can you say? You’re an adrenaline junkie and a sucker for an abandoned house or graveyard. Get ready to go ghost hunting with Zach and Cody and see if you can handle the jump scares in Suite 613.
Gravity Falls: Summerween (Season 1, Episode 12)
Halloween isn’t just a holiday for you – it’s a lifestyle. You’ve been planning your Halloween costume since June, and your spooky decorations went up the second there was a slight breeze in the air. You are a firm believer that Halloween was better when you were a kid, but you are not about to let the “Hocus Pocus” magic die. You insist that trick-or-treating has no age limit, and you are definitely sorting your candy by color the second you get home. You truly can’t get enough of the spooky season, and you are going to fit in as many Halloween activities as possible between the months of August and October. You don’t want to see the holiday end, and by spending “Summerween” with Dipper and Mabel, you don’t have to!
Hannah Montana: Torn Between Two Hannahs (Season 1, Episode 17)
Halloween is more of a social event for you than a holiday. You are definitely dressing up as the most popular singer or movie character of the past year, but that’s okay. Your hand-bedazzled outfit will be unlike anyone else’s. In the wise words of Karen Smith, “I’m a mouse, duh!” Seriously, everyone should see the Pinterest board you’ve been curating since July. You are the “Queen of Halloween,” even if you’d rather not gut a pumpkin, go on a haunted hayride or spend the night at a bonfire. You are making at least 15 TikTok transitions of your outfit, and you are definitely the friend everyone goes to for Halloween caption ideas. You aren’t the biggest fan of “spooky,” but you are always down for an opportunity to be glamorous and fun. An exclusive party with “Hannah Montana” is the perfect scene for you this Halloween weekend!
Wizards of Waverly Place: Halloween (Season 3, Episode 2)
You appreciate anything witchy, regardless of the season. During the fall months, your wardrobe turns exclusively black, and you would kill for a fall drink from Spencer’s. You usually spend your weekends trying to interpret tarot cards, reading your horoscope or messing around with a Ouija Board. Your favorite thing about the season is the gloomy weather, and there’s nothing you like better than curling up in a corner with your cat and a good “Harry Potter” book. Maybe you can help Alex Russo with her magical dilemma this Halloween season trying to make the Russo family’s haunted house better – and a little more supernatural – than ever.
Shake It Up: Haunt It Up (Season 3, Episode 25)
You are the most disorganized person on Halloween, but your one goal is to make sure you have the best spooky season ever. You are blasting Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” all night long and coercing your friend group into wearing the cheesiest Halloween pajamas imaginable. You personally buy out the entire candy section at Target in preparation and, obviously, you get the king-size candy bars. You’re truly a kid at heart, even if you spend your Halloween handing out candy instead of trick-or-treating yourself. Maybe Halloween looks a little different now that you’re older, but the pumpkin carving Polaroid photoshoot you have proves that it’s still far from boring. Join CeCe and Rocky in reliving all their favorite Halloween traditions with a chaotic, colorful twist.
Jessie: Ghost Bummers (Season 3, Episode 1)
You are the resident Halloween party planner. You have scoured the internet for spooky snacks, and you still rent Halloween DVDs “for the aesthetic” instead of streaming them. You’ve likely come up with a variety of games to play, and you made matching costumes for your entire friend group months ago. You thrive on making sure everyone has a good time, even if you end up exhausted with a candycorn-induced stomachache by the end of the night. But you can’t rest yet. You are immediately back in the groove, planning the rest of the holiday season soirées. There’s no place better for you than a New York penthouse with Jessie and the Ross kids, even when things take a turn for the mysterious!
