The roster is designed to help UNTB identify suitable experts when governments and development partners require specialised technical assistance. Successful applicants will be included in a searchable pool of professionals for four years, enabling the organisation to match expertise with country-specific development needs. The opportunity is remote, with most assignments expected to be home-based. Travel may be required depending on the scope of an individual assignment. However, inclusion in the roster does not guarantee employment, an assignment, or a consultancy contract.

申请人须拥有农业、农学、农业工程、农业经济、农业综合企业、食品系统、农村发展、灌溉工程、水资源管理、环境科学、气候变化、生物技术、数据科学、公共政策或其他相关学科的高级大学学位（硕士或博士）。

An advanced university degree, specifically a master’s degree or PhD, in agriculture, agronomy, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics, agribusiness, food systems, rural development, irrigation engineering, water resources management, environmental science, climate change, biotechnology, data science, public policy, or another relevant discipline.

申请人须具备至少八年专业农业经验，包括在所选专业领域内于至少一个最不发达国家或发展中国家有实质经验。

At least eight years of professional agricultural experience, including substantial experience in the selected area of expertise in at least one least developed or developing country.

申请人须至少有一篇相关同行评审出版物，或由联合国或公认国际组织发表、明确署名申请人的独立或合著出版物。

At least one relevant peer-reviewed publication or an authored or co-authored publication issued by the United Nations or a recognised international organisation, with the applicant clearly credited.

申请人须具备与政府部委、国家科技机构、联合国实体或国际发展组织合作的经验。

Experience working with government ministries, national science and technology institutions, United Nations entities, or international development organisations.

选择农业技术与工程方向的申请人优先考虑相关博士学位；持硕士学位者须具备至少12年相关经验，包括开发、测试、部署或维护农业技术的实际参与。

For applicants choosing agricultural technology and engineering expertise, a relevant PhD is preferred. Candidates with a master’s degree must have at least 12 years of relevant experience, including practical involvement in developing, testing, deploying, or maintaining agricultural technologies.

要求英语书面和口语流利；法语和葡萄牙语能力为加分项。

Fluency in written and spoken English is required. French and Portuguese proficiency is desirable.
